Testimonials

We recommend Ros to anyone struggling with parenting.

When we began to work with Ros, our family was in despair and our relationship with our teen was in ruins. The whole family was in distress: my husband and I felt broken and powerless.

Ros immediately understood the seriousness of our situation as a family, like no one else had. Other people had tried to help our child but no one else could see how much help we needed to cope. Working with Ros, we slowly began to heal. Over many months we gradually rebuilt trust in our relationships.

Ros helped us with strategies, and taught us how to notice the little “wins”. She also helped us to parent through love instead of fear. This has made a tremendous difference to our relationship with our teen. It is a work in progress, like all relationships. Ros continues to be our favourite parenting resource - helping us manage the many ups and downs in our life together as parents.

We are so thankful we found Ros. She has restored our confidence in our ability to be parents - and helped us to save our family. We know that without her expertise, our story would be quite different.

I started therapy with Ros to deal with a multitude of issues including out of control and disrespectful teenagers, problems with my parents and a history of violent domestic abuse. These issues led me to many dark periods and feelings of negativity towards myself.

Ros has been a wonderful support to me through these times. Speaking with her has always been easy, she has been a constant supporter even when I was not supporting myself. Ros helped me look at myself in a kinder way, helped me be more compassionate towards myself and provided me with practical steps to quieten my inner critic and feel more positive. Ros has always been available to speak to and a source of hope, she has always made me feel understood, comfortable and safe. I highly recommend Ros as a therapist as she has been a wonderful support for me.

If you want to engage a quality, ethical and highly skilled practioner, I highly recommend Roslyn Romanous.

Roslyn has consulted across a diverse range of services I have managed, providing EAP services to staff working in the Out of Home Care system, Individual and Family therapies for clients in South Western Sydney, and Trauma-Aware practice support.

Roslyn brings compassion, warmth, and a sense of humour to her practice working with evidenced-based theories as she teaches professional staff and individual clients to recognise and overcome limiting beliefs. Engagement is the foundation of Ros's approach, evidenced by meaningful outcomes and the ability to develop a deep and trusting connection with her clients. As a holistic therapist, I have witnessed Roslyn's capacity to confirm the experiences of those she works with, acknowledging they are the authority in healing themselves by honouring their story and helping them create both professional and personal changes they want to see.
